One of the things we learn from this incident on the Sea of Galilee is that the disciples still have a lot to learn about Jesus. To be a disciple means that you are a learner. So it was with the twelve. So it is with us. They were not disciples, and we are not disciples, because of what we know, but rather we are disciples because we need to continue to learn and grow in our understanding of who Jesus is and what He means for our lives. It is a lifetime endeavor, a venture that brings innumerable blessings into our hearts and lives, and into the hearts and lives of others.
