It’s why it is fascinating to learn today that there is only one bread of heaven, one bread that sustains our life with God and each other. One bread that delivers the benefits of the work of God. One bread “that gives life to the world.” Jesus said, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.”
