Sermon: You are Surrounded!

What’s going on in your life? Surrounded by many difficult issues? Health concerns? Old age problems? Is death knocking on your door? Spiritual difficulties? Family dilemmas? Financial troubles? Feel like it’s time to throw in the towel?

 Like you just can’t trust in the Lord anymore? Tempted to live as if you’re not died for? Enticed to live as if you’re not baptized? Are you lured to abandon the divine service altogether? Want to stop running and give up? Well, you are surrounded. The Lord says you are surrounded. And his word is much different than the police. 

Not a word of surrender or giving up but one of hope. The Lord Jesus gives you a word so that you do not grow weary. The Lord Jesus gives you a word so that you do not lost heart and give up. You are given a word to strengthen your faith in the Lord.
