Sermon: You’re in Good Hands

: As a child you knew that if you were with your mother, you were in good hands.  It means that you were safe and that you had everything you needed.  On this Mother’s Day, we give thanks to God for the love and care that we have received from our moms.  Likewise, when it comes to God, we’re in good hands.  Our Lord stretched out His good hands on the cross for the life of the world.  

With His good hands He cleanses us of everything that’s bad, feeds us with His goodness by putting His body on our tongues, and pouring His blood on our lips for our forgiveness. He holds onto us so tightly that not even death can snatch us out of His hands. Thank God you’re in good hands, the hands of God in Christ.
