Jesus comes from outside of us - from heaven’s high throne and He comes to be one of us, incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary. He is made man. He breaks into our broken world - breathes our poisoned air and brings with him all of the righteousness and holiness of God, for that is who He is. He takes all of your sin that flows from an unclean sin-clogged heart and answers for it.
Dies with it. Forgives it and doesn’t hold it against you. Because it all belongs to Him! He is the slain Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! With His bloody forgiveness put in your ears and hearts you are restored to God! Purified! Cleansed! When the Father looks at you He sees you covered in the blood of His Son you Savior, Jesus. The blood of Jesus washed your heart clean in Holy Baptism.-----Trinity Lutheran Church, School and Child Care have been "Making Known the Love of Christ" in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and throughout the world since 1853 as a congregation gathering around God's Word and Sacraments to receive forgiveness and life everlasting. Trinity is located in downtown Sheboygan, only one block from the Mead Public Library and the Weill Center for the Performing Arts. We invite you to visit us in person!

A tradition is the transmission of customs or beliefs from one generation to the next. The true tradition of the church is the Gospel and all proper practices or traditions in the church teach the Gospel. For example, I was never officially taught to sing hymns as a young child.
This was a tradition passed along to me. I just watched my parents and brothers open their hymnals and sing, and I followed their lead. I distinctly remember reflecting on this in church one Sunday as a little boy. I can even tell you which pew I was sitting in at Our Savior Lutheran Church. I remember thinking that this was the only place at that point in my life where I sang anything. The hymns that I sang taught me the Word of God as they confessed the readings and sermon of that day.
Traditions such as singing hymns that confess the word of God are godly traditions since they focus on what Jesus has done and continues to do for the life of the world, for the life of you and me.-----Trinity Lutheran Church, School and Child Care have been "Making Known the Love of Christ" in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and throughout the world since 1853 as a congregation gathering around God's Word and Sacraments to receive forgiveness and life everlasting. St. Paul exhorts us to not be deceived by the empty words and things of the world but be filled with the Holy Spirit. And the Holy Spirit sings! Learn how singing is a part of who we are as the children of God, and why all theology finds its true home in praise to God and love for one another.-----Trinity Lutheran Church, School and Child Care have been "Making Known the Love of Christ" in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and throughout the world since 1853 as a congregation gathering around God's Word and Sacraments to receive forgiveness and life everlasting. Jesus says, “I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever.” This is indeed good news! Imagine if that news got out into our community. We have a bread here in this place that brings eternal life, a cure for death, a bread that has the power to raise you to life from death.
Well, the demand would be overwhelming. The crowds here at Trinity Lutheran Church would rival the crowds at major sporting events. People would be lining up for this bread for miles - trying to break down our doors to get it. People would be bringing their children and friends from miles to get this living bread from heaven. This is exactly what happens each Lord’s Day here in this place.
Jesus gives us His very body and blood in, with and under bread and wine for the forgiveness of sins life and salvation! What else can we do but sing, “Thank the Lord and sing His praise tell everyone what He has done!”-----Trinity Lutheran Church, School and Child Care have been "Making Known the Love of Christ" in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and throughout the world since 1853 as a congregation gathering around God's Word and Sacraments to receive forgiveness and life everlasting. It is estimated that there are more than one hundred different types of bread made in this world of ours. It’s why it is fascinating to learn today that there is only one bread of heaven, one bread that sustains our life with God and each other. One bread that delivers the benefits of the work of God. One bread “that gives life to the world.” Jesus said, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.”-----Trinity Lutheran Church, School and Child Care have been "Making Known the Love of Christ" in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and throughout the world since 1853 as a congregation gathering around God's Word and Sacraments to receive forgiveness and life everlasting. When you take a look around in this congregation, it doesn’t take much imagination to see a crowd like those on the shore of Lake Gennesaret. People who are tired and sick, hurting and struggling and in need of help. People who look defeated by the troubles of life and our struggles with them. But we are not defeated! We are not alone facing the stormy seas. We are not alone facing trials and struggles. We are ever alone. Jesus is with you. He never changes. He is the God who is able. He is able to create, able to keep, able to save. He will not pass you by. You are His. And though the way be rough, and the storms be huge now, know this: He is the God who is able to save you!-----Trinity Lutheran Church, School and Child Care have been "Making Known the Love of Christ" in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and throughout the world since 1853 as a congregation gathering around God's Word and Sacraments to receive forgiveness and life everlasting.
